NEW DINI PARTNERS’ CONSULTANT AN EXPERT IN MATCHING PROSPECTS TO FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
(Houston, TX – December 10, 2008) Ali R. McLane, known for her strategic approach to matching prospective donors to funding opportunities, has joined Dini Partners, a national philanthropy consulting firm based in Houston.
M. Anne Murphy, principal and partner, said: “Ali is known for her unique, multilayered approach to nonprofit fundraising. She looks below the surface to examine the many distinct factors that motivate prospective donors to give. In other words, she turns data into actionable intelligence to help our clients meet their fundraising goals.” Ali works with clients to enhance and build prospect management, identification and research programs, as well as assisting with data and database optimization across all departments.
McLane, who received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications studies from Texas Tech University, was a member of the team that developed Prospect Information Network (PIN), a wealth-screening and consulting company that pioneered the use of software to identify, profile and segment prospects by wealth, interests and patterns of giving.
Prior to joining Dini Partners, McLane was a Solutions Strategist for Prospect Management and Identification at KinteraPIN, providing her expertise to clients embarking on major fundraising campaigns. She also served as assistant director of development research for The University of Tulsa and as a development research specialist for her alma mater.
McLane is a co-founder, past president and board member of the Southwest Chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for advancement (APRA) and was just elected as the president of the Houston chapter of APRA. She is a charter member of the Association of Advancement Services Professionals and currently serves on their best practices committee. |
